A while back, I read a blog about creating a family mission statement.
For some reason this seemed daunting to me, no matter how simple she made it out. Sometimes I get a block and just can't get past it. I'm sure we all face this from time to time.
Anyhow. Today I decided to sit now & create a mission statement for myself. I want to put on paper a goal to keep me focused. As I wrote, I realized that I kept coming back to certain words. These words that I am choosing to define me. For this season of my life, these are my driving words. They stir something in me, and each can mean a multitude of things depending on the situation.
Love
Give
Simple
Natural
Grace
Praise
Love ~ God is Love. Love your Neighbors. Love covers a multitude of sins. Love is not jealous.
Give ~ Luke 6:30 Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back.
