baby boy is growing up

Every now and then I realize that my baby is really growing up. I know, he's only 17 months old, but still. Here's an example:

Mama (after giving him his breakfast): I love you baby

Nathan: why?

Mama: (a little shocked) because you're my son & uhm, you're cute!

Nathan: ohh ... k


Seriously, I had an actual conversation with my boy. I didn't think he'd question my love this soon in life. I figured I had at least a few more years, but at least he seemed satisfied with my answer. haha
