Santa Clause is coming to town

I won't lie to you, I'm getting excited about Christmas!!

I've been playing Christmas music as much as I can. I do need to get some CDs though. Nathan loves looking at (but not touching) the Christmas tree. Whenever he sees one of those blow up lawn decorations, he oohs & ahhs at it. There is a definite chill in the air. Mike's parents are in town for the week to celebrate with us. There are presents under the tree, which is a first for our house. Only one bow has been lost to inquiring hands. Not bad in my eyes. We didn't go into debt for presents, and even managed to make a couple. ;)

I'll be heading to the store soon to get all the fixings for the coming days ~ Cookies, Peppermint Bark, Apple Cider, Hot Coca, Popcorn, French Toast, Chips & Cheese Dip... mmm maybe some Tums?? haha We're doing Tamales for Christmas Eve Dinner, French Toast on Christmas morning & Homemade Chicken Pot Pie for Lunch/Dinner Christmas Day. It's our own twist on Christmas Food that started over the last couple of years. Then there's all the snack food.

I'm excited about this Christmas. Last year was special, yes but we were only 4 days into being parents. So, in a way this feels like our first Family Christmas.

I was hoping for a White Christmas, but according to the reports, it'll be a Wet Christmas. There's still time for a weather change, right??
