Green Cape

A friend of mine asked me a while back to make a cape for her son. Well, I may have asked if he wanted one, but either way... She said he would like a cool shiny one! Originally it was to be red, but I couldn't find any of the fabric in red. So, his second choice was lime green.

It kept getting pushed behind other projects, and over the weekend I decided to make it a priority. Part of my procrastination, is that I knew this fabric would test me. Also, I decided to make my own tie with the fabric itself.

Today was sewing day. I am SO happy with how it turned out!! I think I fell in love with color. Very fun for a 3 year old boy.

I am going to make a couple more & list them on etsy, so keep an eye open for them.

Here's some pictures.
