In total, we had 20 comments, but one was deleted & one didn't want to be entered.

So, the 18th comment entered into the drawing was from Joel! Hooray Joel! I'll send you an email to get all the details together to make the dress for your sweet girl.

Thank you to everyone who has promoted this giveaway & my etsy shop. This blog got over 300 hits since last week. That's amazing to me. A lot of people have been looking at my etsy shop as well.

I am currently taking order for dresses and anything else in my etsy shop. As I said before, all the proceeds are going to our next adoption. Keep watching for specials to hit the shop. I'm thinking of doing a Christmas special.

Wal-Mart vs Homemade

((sigh))

I have a confession to make, but no worries, I'm making it right!!

This year, I decided (and took a pledge, thank you very much) to buy homemade items whenever possible. Well, I was at Wal-mart the other night, doing my weekly shopping & walked passed the scarves. It's COLD out & I'm not happy with my current scarf. So, I picked one up, tossed it the cart (buggy out here) and went on my way.

Once I got home, I thought... uhm? hello? Wal-mart vs Handmade!! I will be taking said scarf back to the store & buying a scarf from Etsy.

This is something that takes a conscience mind to change around.

New Etsy Listing

I finished the tote from the Fundraiser tonight, and it will be on it's way to Andi tomorrow.

While making it, I decided that I liked it so much that I would make another to sell. I always seem to buy too much fabric, so there was plenty for a second tote.

I gotta tell you, I love this bag. It's made better than mine, because mine was a tester. I learned from my mistakes and made the improvements.

It has longer straps, bigger pockets and bit more room.

Even if you don't plan to use it for diapers, it has plenty of room for your stuff.

Take a look, and pass it on if you like. Anything I sell on Etsy is going towards our Adoption Fundraiser.
