Anyhow, I have been enjoying the warmer spring weather. Most days, at least.
Last year I started hanging Nathan's diapers out on the line and LOVED it.

I had just the one line, and that's all I hung out.
This year, I have added three more lines & started hanging out everything. Well, except for undergarments... just can't seem put those on display. Call me crazy! HA!
I love it. I love the fresh smell to the clothes, I love the time spent outside and I love saving the money. Nathan is all about playing outside right now, so he doesn't mind even more time out there.
I did have a neighbor complaining about her childhood and having to hang laundry outside, even in the snow. Uhm, what was wrong with her parents? Clothes dry much better INSIDE, as opposed to in the snow. haha
Just thought I'd share. Now I'm going to try to get a couple more hours of sleep before the boy wakes up. =)

I've been debating doing this also and yeah I've always wondered why people would line dry in the snow...wouldn't it FREEZE!
Kathy told me that I needed a clothes line. But I already feel like my backyard is way too busy. With all the wood, the ugly dog kennel, and the bright yellow burn-barrel, adding a clothes line will make our neighbors hate us! But I am working on cleaning up the backyard, organizing the wood in one location and covering up that ugly burn barrel (that we haven't used), so I might be able to put one up by the end of May...hmm something to work towards. :)
Reminds me of your Grandma's clotheslines, before dryers...everything for a family of six people got hung outside, sheets, towels, etc. Bringing in the laundry was something we kids helped with. California weather was much more suitable, tho.
