I am so very excited and a little proud of myself. My bedroom is clean! Now when I walk in there, I'm ready to fall into bed. It's also more inspiring to create, with my sewing table in there. My room had become a bit of a catch-all, and needed some serious attention.
This week, I'm focusing on the office/toy area. Again, it just became a catch-all and needs some organizing.
After that's done, I'm going to be scrubbing the house from top to bottom!
Here's another cleaner recipe that I use in everyday cleaning, and it will help in Spring Cleaning too.
All Purpose Cleaner
Items Needed
*Spray Bottle, approx 16 oz
*2 tablespoons vinegar
*1 teaspoon borax
*hot water
*1/4 cup liquid soap (I use Dr. Bronners) The liquid soaps I mention, are meant to be pure liquid castille soap, not liquid softsoap or the kinds you find in the beauty section of wal-mart. I found Dr. Bronners at my local Whole Foods, or you can find it online.
*10-15 drops pf essential oil (you can skip this if you get a scented soap)
1) Mix vinegar & borax.
2) Fill with very hot water (leave room for step 4)
3) Shake until borax is dissolved
4) add soap & oils
When you use this, start sparingly. Get an idea of how much it suds and cleans. You really don't need a ton of it.
