Sewing for today

I bought a bunch of wool sweaters from Goodwill last month. They have been sitting in my sewing area since then, just waiting. What are they waiting for you ask?

I am going to be turning them all into what's known as Longies. Wool Diaper Cover Pants. I've made about 3 or 4 before this pile. Today my goal is to make 6 pair, from these 6 sweaters.

I love them! They are super absorbent, which is great at night. They breathe, which is great for keeping rashes away. Never underestimate the greatness of knowing that you made something. ;)
