Budget Nightmare

I had to share this with you all...

Over the past year I have been working on cutting back our budget and sticking to it. This month I stayed on track with our grocery budget. This has been the hardest thing for me to do. Not that I splurge, it's just been fine tuning my cooking and shopping disciplines.

Last night, I dreamt (sp?) that I spent $450 at the grocery store and only brought home 3 bags of stuff. $450 is almost 2 months worth of groceries and I freaking out in my dream. In my dream at one point, I was sitting on the kitchen floor crying because I had no food & now no more money.

When I told Mike this morning he laughed that my biggest fear right now is my budget. I am glad that I have been sticking to the budget, but I think I need to lighten up about it! haha

Hi, Kelly!! I was checking out some blogs/sites about budgets & frugal living and this quote popped into my mailbox at the same time:

Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.

I thought...How PERFECT. Now...to do something about it. :)

Same goes for bible study. I've got a gift certificate burnin' a hole in my pocket. Since you've been through a few bible studies, would you please help me pick one out as a first timer? I was thinking of a 'books of the bible' study. Any suggestions?

Thanks!!!!!
