Nathan's Birthday (his 1st by the way), was the day after Thanksgiving. If you remember, we met up with some friends and had some fun on his Birthday.
We had planned a party for the following week, but that didn't happen. So, we had to postpone it until January. I know we postponed it for valid reasons, I mean we were all SICK! But, I hate postponing someone's special day.
Since we have dogs, and our friend's son is allergic, we moved the party to their home. Which was fun and worked out best, since the other family coming only lives down the street.
We went with a puppy theme, since Nathan's loves his dogs (ga) so much. Instead of cake, I made cupcakes & put little paw print on them.

Nathan's was a mini bundt cake. I couldn't get the frosting pretty.

For snacks, Dog Bones, of course!

As the part started, everyone danced to the 101 Dalmatians CD.

Nathan loves Tia. There were many days when he was new, that she helped me out. When I was just at my wits end, she would take him, walk, sing & put the boy to sleep. That's a friend! So, because of it, they have a special bond.

The Birthday Boy Looking Cute!

He got these markers & carried them EVERYWHERE.

When it came time to eat his cake, he just wasn't sure. He dug into with both hands, but refused to eat it. He has started shaking his hands when they have something on them. He just couldn't get past the dirty hands. lol

He's really getting the hang of opening presents now. He did sit through the cards though.

I made cute little goody bags for all of the kids, and just realized that I never got a picture of them! ugh, I really wanted one. oh well!

You're not a bad mommy!!! It looks like he had a great time and being a little older he probably enjoyed it more. The cupcakes are super cute. I've started doing cupcakes for my kids parties and even invested in a cheap cupcake stand. They love them!
He's super cute!!! I know you feel so blessed to have him!
