It's after midnight here, and I'm still awake. I want to go to sleep, but instead I am sipping hot tea for my aching throat. I am afraid I have something more than a cold. It came on me this afternoon. My whole body just aches. I am praying I get better, because I don't have insurance. Yep, we fall into that crack of the system where we don't make enough to afford $800/month, but make too much to qualify for TennCare. However, I am grateful that this is something that will pass & overall my health is great.
I made a cape for my friend Tia's son Adam. I can't wait to give it to him, I so hope he likes it! I am going to make another one for my friend Traci's son Micah. Fun stuff!
My vent is people being offended, myself included. We, as people tend, to complain about things, myself included. Other people hear us complain and think "man, I wish I had their problems. Why are they complaining." I did just this only minutes ago. I am mad at myself for doing it, but still a bit irked at the person doing the complaining. Maybe it's my sickness, or the recent events, or the lining of the moon, who knows.
My "real" moment for the night... I am going to pray for the person who offended me. I will pray for the situation to get better for said person. I will pray for God to soften my heart & help me learn to not be so offendable.
