Trip to the Zoo

My friend Tia is a homeschooling mom. She found out that this past Friday was a special day for schools & homeschoolers. So, she invited Nathan & I along for the fun.

We've been before, but Nathan was not old enough to notice much of anything. This time however, he became entranced by the meercats. They have a 5' glass wall around the exhibit & I was holding Nathan in my arms when we came to it. He put his hands on top of the glass wall & just stared. I have to admit, the meercats are adorable. He started talking & yelling at them and getting really excited. I tried pulling him away & he held on as tightly as he possbily could.

I love living in Tennessee

I have found a blog, that is a little of local news and little bit of humor. I like it. I find out the most interesting things just from reading their posts. Check it out some time.

I have learned by reading their posts, that North Carolina thinks Tennessee is trying to kill them. Georgia wants to move the Tennessee/Georgia border, because we are keeping water from them. Mississipi is sueing us because they think we are outright stealing their water.
