Money

It's no secret to anyone who's been reading this blog that we are working a budget. I have been really buckling down and watching what happens to every dollar. Every now & then, I think "Man, it would be nice to not have to watch things so close." Then yesterday something clicked.

I was in the car listening to the radio, and Nathan haha. One of those Lottery ads came on, with people talking about all the things they can do with the money. A lady talked about her new masseuse and daily massages.

This really got me thinking. Even if I had millions, would I really want to blow it on things like that? Why do I & should I watch my money? Is it even RIGHT to blow my money?

The answer is no, I don't want to blow my money. Here's the reason, it's not my money. It's God's money. He has simply entrusted it to us to do the right thing. I need to do a better job of keeping my focus on this every day. Even now while our money is small, it still should have a purpose.
