I will be honest and say that it seems weird that my biggest excitement is diapers!
For quite a while, Nathan was in cloth almost exclusively. I stay home with him, so no worries about day care, and he didn't start in the church nursery until late summer. Mike is great about changing cloth diaper, so no problems there either.
When we went to California, we left the cloth at home. It was just easier to do disposables. When we got home, I got a bit lazy, and only did cloth during the day. Well, over the last month, Nathan has been waking up completely soaked. He's been wet and cold, and just not a happy baby. I've tried different diapers and realized, it's time to get back to cloth. I did some looking around and LOTS of reading, and found what looked like a solution.
I could buy the diapers online, but then there's shipping costs and waiting. There is one, count them one, cloth diaper store here in TN. Of course, they are on the other side of the state. Fortunately, my hubby's parents were passing right by there last week.
After a couple days of figuring everything out, Nathan woke up dry this morning. Oh, his diaper was SOAKED, but he was even dry to the touch in his diaper area.
I am so excited about this diapers and happy be back to cloth full time.

When we are mommies, we get excited over the post interesting things...I can remember going to work after my daughter had runny diapers for a week excited over solids and the great thing is other mommies understand completely!
Do you guys live on the east side or west side of TN? I just love the mtn area. We spent our honeymoon in Gatlinburg and loved it!
I am getting SO frustrated over the cost of cloth dipes. I have 5-6 big bags of disposables for when I get home and am about to throw in the towel...
Anyway, about your post. It takes awhile as mamas to see what our babies are better with. Being a mama is ALL about trial and error. Even after 4, I'm sure I won't be a pro with this next one :)
