It's a been a while since I've done an update on the boy, so here you go.
We went to the doctor yesterday for a flu shot & to get his records. He did such a good job with the shot, he didn't even flinch! He now weighs 22 pounds 7 ounces & is 31 inches long.
The medical records were so that we could apply for his Social Security Number. We should have that in 3 weeks. On a side note, it irritates me beyon belief that all of his records show me as his mother at birth. I did not become his mother until he was almost a month old. ARGH!
Okay, I'm better now...
He cut his third tooth yesterday. It's funny to watch how he uses his tongue and lips to feel his mouth and new teeth.
When we are at home or in the car, he jabbers constantly. Out in public, he is the quietest baby you ever met! He loves watching people and just observing.
He has been bottle free for almost a week and doing GREAT. He eats really well, and rarely refuses food of any kind. He does best with fruit & yogurt. Other than his milk, the only drink he has is water. He seems just fine with it.
Lately I have been so impressed, when I tell him no for touching something, he turns away from it. Now, don't get me wrong, he is far from perfect, but doing really well. On that note though, he has learned to throw a decent temper tantrum. The boy can hit notes that should be reserved for opera singers!! For the most part, the tantrums seem seperation related. I'm hoping that by ignoring them he will learn that they get him nowhere.
He sleeps like a champ now! This last week he has been bordering on sleeping too much! haha
Still not walking yet, but that's just fine.
