Homemade kitchen mat...

I love it! I found a pattern for it at one of my favorite craft blogs called Sew, Mama Sew.

I have never really been happy with mats for the kitchen that I find in stores, but it never occurred to me to make my own.

The best part? The only thing I had to purchase was the heavy weight backing fabric. That I found for a deal in the, any guesses? Yep, the remnant bin.

The wet spot on it was from Nathan. The moment I laid it on the ground, he attacked and put it in his mouth. =)
