Okay, I don't often talk politics, especially on my blog. This may be a first... I'm sure I will make some readers mad, and for that.. well, it is what it is.

I have not been thrilled with this Presidential Election or either final choices. Neither one of them makes me want to vote for them. I remember reading up on McCain a few years back, and thinking that he was more liberal than some of the democrats running at the time. Seeing as how I am ultra-conservative, this didn't set well.

Now here we are and he is the Republican offering for president. bleck.

Days ago, he announced his running mate. I should like her. As far as I can tell, her beliefs line up with mine. From what I understand she has done a lot of good things in Alaska.

My issue is this, she is a mommy. She has teenagers at home as well as a 7 year old and a 5 month old!! How on earth does she plan to balance this with being second in command for America?!?! Please don't tell me that women can juggle careers and family. A. I don't buy it & B. this is no "career".

If I wasn't already frustrated with the upcoming election, I am for sure now.
