Sewing Toys

I had fun making the cubes, and will be making more. In the meantime though, I wanted to try something else.

I had read that stuffed giraffe (which I always spell wrong) toys are great for babies. So, I decided to try making some.... they need to be bigger and well, cuter. I put a bell in one of them & the other will be really frayed after washing (on purpose).



I used old fabric that was just rotting away in my stash.



Nathan seriously loves them!! They are easy for him to pick up, shake, taste... lol It makes me happy to make something that brings joy to my son. Have I mentioned that I am totally over plastic toys from china?? All the ones in the picture behind him will be donated away.
